•    No.1 super important point – it makes sure your contract complies with consumer protection law.  This area of law is notoriously complex and if your contract does not comply it will be illegal and what’s more your clients will be entitled to an extended cancellation period where they are entitled to ask for a refund for no reason.  Much better to comply with the consumer protection regulations and limit the ‘cooling off’ period to the 14 day minimum…

•    It clearly sets out the differences between coaching, counselling and medical treatment
